I recently received a letter from Linda S. Hall, Director of the Department of Commerce.

Meeting her responsibility of providing consumer information as required by Alaska Statute 21.06.115, Ms.Hall presented us with the 2006 Automobile Insurance Guide. The Guide provides the information on available coverages and advice on shopping for or reviewing an automobile insurance policy. It also allows customers to compare their current insurance premiums or premium quotations with examples furnished by companies that are currently providing this coverage to Alaskans.
