As there are various fractions in the Legislature with their own views as to which, if any gas line contract, is best for Alaska, Senator Ben Stevens has proposed an amendment that would essentially bump the issue up to a Citizen Advisory Vote in the November election.
I am interested in knowing what my constituents' thoughts are regarding moving the approval of the gas line contract up to an approval referendum.
If you have opinions on this matter, please let me know.
Sincerely
