"I am honored to be selected as the Vice-Chair of the Transportation Committee and will continue to work hard to support Alaska's growing infrastructure."
- Rep. Ogg
(Kodiak) - Representative Dan Ogg (R-Kodiak) is pleased to announce his recent selection as Vice-Chair of the House Transportation Committee and his appointment to the House Ways and Means Committee.
"I am honored to be selected as the Vice-Chair of the Transportation Committee and will continue to work hard to support Alaska's growing infrastructure," Rep. Ogg said.
Rep. Ogg was also appointed to the House Ways and Means Committee. The new committee assignment will place Rep. Ogg at the forefront of the legislature's efforts to develop a long-range fiscal plan for the state.
"The Ways and Means Committee is very important to the future of the state," Rep. Ogg said. "We will be acting as a watchdog on government spending and working to balance the state budget, including evaluating alternative ways to manage the Permanent Fund and consideration of any revenue measures prepared by the administration or legislators. I'm hopeful that we will be successful in developing a long-range fiscal plan that we can all support."
Rep. Ogg is also a member of the House Judiciary Committee, House Special Committee on Fisheries, and the House Special Committee on Education.
