This slide shows 4 animated images of the NWT. While most people think of the NWT as snowbound taiga plains, these pictures show some of its diversity. The first is a winter picture of the Mackenzie Delta with the Mackenzie Mountains to the south. The second photo is dwarf pine and birch trees found North of Yellowknife, in the Slave Geological province. The 3rd slide of the Valley of the Fairies in the Mackenzie Mountains. The 4th photo is a fall sunset near the Yellowknife River.
