Notes:
The NWT is a trade based economy, even more than Alaska. While the Alaska GDP is 15 times that of the NWT, its exports are only 5 times as large. Once NWT oil and gas, plus added diamond exports, come into development, the gap should narrow even further.
However, it should be noted there is currently little trade between the NWT and Alaska.
