This next set of pictures shows some of the trade links between Alaska and the NWT. First we have a photo of a drill ship off the Beaufort. Along with Alaska the NWT has large reserves of oil and gas. Second, we have a photo of a Robinson’s special truck created to develop sections of the NWT ice road system. Many of these roads are maintained and built by the private sector.
