Fish Caucus to Meet Thursday

(JUNEAU)- Alaska Shellfish Growers and their tremendous growth potential will be the topic of this weeks Fish Caucus.

Join legislators and experts for this look at least known, but rapidly growing fishery. Giving presentations this week will be: Rodger Painter - Alaska Shellfish Growers Association, Bob Hartley - Kachemak Bay Shellfish, Jon Agosti and Ron Long - Quteckak Shellfish Hatchery and Ray RaLonde - University of Alaska Marine Advisory Program.

As always the media and public are encouraged to attend this Thursday from noon until 1 p.m. in the Butrovich Room, second floor State Capitol Building. Those unable to attend can join a teleconference at any Legislative Information Office, or by statewide teleconference, by dialing (800) 865-2487 outside Juneau or 465-2487 in the local Juneau area.
