Kohring Calls Third District Meeting
(WASILLA) - Rep. Vic Kohring (R-Wasilla/Peters Creek) will hold a town meeting on Saturday, April 13 via teleconference from his Juneau legislative office, to solicit constituent concerns regarding legislative issues. Kohring invites his District 26 constituents and all interested members of the public and press to attend the meeting at the Wasilla Legislative Information Office (LIO) conference room, at 600 E. Railroad Ave., starting at 11 a.m. "This meeting is one of several this session in an ongoing effort to seek feedback from my constituents," Kohring said. "It helps me do my job better if I know what concerns and recommendations people have. I look forward to hearing from my friends, neighbors and constituents in the Mat-Su Valley and Peters Creek/Chugiak." Newspapers and other media outlets are encouraged to publish notice of this meeting in their community calendars, schedules of events or other notices of public events. Kohring scheduled the meeting following a strong public turnout at a similar town meeting he conducted in person at Wasilla City Hall on March 23. The teleconferenced meeting is a way to reduce legislative expenses on travel, while still keeping in close touch with constituents, he said. For more information, the public is welcome to call the LIO at 376-3704 or to call Kohring toll-free at (800) 468-2186, or at (907) 465-2186. # # # Attachments:
