Anchorage Caucus to Hold Town Hall Meeting
(JUNEAU) - The Anchorage Caucus, a group of Legislators whose districts lie within the Municipality of Anchorage, will meet in Anchorage in the Assembly Chambers of the Loussac Library on Saturday, February 23, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. "This meeting is an excellent opportunity for the public, industry and media to gather face to face with those representing the Municipality of Anchorage in Juneau," said Sen. Loren Leman, Anchorage Caucus Co-Chair. Presentations will be given by various organizations in the Anchorage area including the Alaska Railroad Corporation, University of Alaska Anchorage, Court Appointed Special Advocates - Child Advocacy Group, the Municipal Administration and Assembly, Port of Anchorage, Anchorage 2020, Providence Hospital, Alaska Regional Hospital, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Alaska Psychiatric Institute, and North Star Behavioral System. "This is important information, and I encourage the people of Anchorage to attend the meeting and contribute their thoughts on issues affecting our State," Co-Chairman Representative Lesil McGuire said.
