It was great to meet with more than two dozen constituents during our recent legislative hearing in Eagle River. Juneau is a remote and somewhat strange environment. Getting away from it is refreshing and tends to restore my priorities.
The legislature voted on the Sanders/ethics issue last week. That issue seemed to me to be much ado about very little. I was out of town for the vote on the penalty for Rep. Sanders, but would have supported the majority vote.
