Legislators Debate Energy and Year 2000 Computer Problems Anchorage -- As part of the Council of State Government West 51st annual conference in Anchorage, Alaska, legislators from 13 western states met today to address energy and minerals issues and the pending Y2K computer glitch. Elaine Alquist, California Assembly Member, chaired the CSG-West Smart States Committee Saturday, which focussed primarily on Y2K interconnectivity in the West.
