Actualities on Child Health Care Bill Signing July 1, 1998

For Immediate Release: June 16, 1998

The Governor is scheduled to sign into law House Bill 369, which extends Medicaid coverage to the neediest of Alaska's neediest kids. House Bill 369 provides Medicaid coverage for thousands of kids whose families' incomes are at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. House Bill 369 also permits the state to take better advantage of managed care.
