Anchorage -- The Anchorage Caucus, a bipartisan group of Anchorage legislators from both the House and the Senate, will meet November 4th, 1999 to discuss Anchorage's priorities before the next legislative session. The meeting is open to the public and will include discussions with the Mayor, and members of the Anchorage Assembly and the Anchorage School District. Representative Andrew Halcro (R-Sand Lake) and Senator Dave Donley (R-Midtown), the Co-Chairs of the Anchorage Caucus, have called the meeting in order to get a head start on the next legislative session as well as to promote good communications between Anchorage legislators and Anchorage officials. "It is important that legislators meet with Anchorage officials before the next legislative session, so that we can work together to develop Anchorage priorities and stronger working relationships," said Senator Donley. "This meeting will help us build a foundation for a successful legislative session for Anchorage," continued Donley. "The more we work as a team and communicate, the better off our hometown of Anchorage will fare during the session," added Representative Halcro. The Anchorage Caucus Meeting will be held on Thursday, November 4th, 1999 at 6 PM at the Anchorage LIO in the basement conference room (716 W. 4th Ave., Anchorage). Meeting Agenda
