Senate Announces Resource Hearings on Subsistence

Anchorage -- Senator Rick Halford (R-Chugiak), Chairman of the Senate Resources Committee, Tuesday announced the railbelt series of Senate Resources hearings on subsistence beginning September 24, in Fairbanks, at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks campus.
"This is the start of a hearing schedule," said Halford. "Numerous rural hearings will follow. Specific times and locations are still being worked out due to the complexities of travel and accommodations."
Following the hearing in Fairbanks, the Committee will conduct hearings in the Mat-Su Valley, on the Kenai Peninsula, and in Anchorage. Dates, times and places are outlined below:
