Juneau -- The Alaska House of Representatives Wednesday passed House Bill 296, sponsored by the House Judiciary Committee. HB 296 updates statutes regarding the Alaska Uniform Partnership Act.

"In fact, the State of Alaska has been operating under many of these provisions for quite some time," said Representative Pete Kott, Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. "This bill formally places them into Alaska statutes."

HB 296 passed the House unanimously and now moves to the Senate for consideration.
