For Immediate Release: March 29, 1999 Juneau -- The Alaska House of Representatives Monday unanimously concurred with Senate changes to House Bill 80, which establishes a hiring preference for Alaska National Guard members for State classified service positions. "House Bill 80 is a very positive way to encourage Alaskans to enlist in our National Guard and continue to serve as Guard members," said Representative Carl M.
