House Passes Four Pieces of Legislation on Day 110

Juneau -- The Alaska House of Representatives Saturday passed four pieces of legislation.
HB 37: Smoking Cessation and Education Programs
Sponsored by Representative Norman Rokeberg (R-Anchorage), HB 37 adds smoking
education and cessation programs to the list of public health and social services
programs administered by the Department of Health and Social Services.

HB 104: Entry Moratoria on Participants and Vessels

moratorium law to provide for a streamlined and effective process to better
