Anchorage - Early next year the Clinton Administration will sign the United Nations Treaty on Global Warming marking the surrender of America's Economy.
"This is a disgrace to all Alaskans and American," Said Senator Jerry Ward, "The signing of the Climate Change Protocol will cost Alaska dearly in the form of jobs as well as development."
According to WEFA, Inc., an economic and information consulting firm, if this treaty is signed, Alaska will loose 2300 jobs by the year 2010, development will virtually stop and the future of America's economy will be controlled not in America but by the United Nations.
"Thousands of Americans have fought and died to protect the American way of life," Ward continued. "Now President Clinton and Governor Knowles have asked Alaskans to fly our flags at half mast to commemorate the bombing of Pearl Harbor, yet Clinton cheapens these deaths by surrendering America's rights and allowing a non veteran to purchase a burial plot in Arlington National Cemetery."
The burial of Larry Lawrence, a 10 million dollar contributor the Democratic Party, in Arlington National Cemetery is under investigation. No record of Mr. Lawrence serving in any military service has been found.
"Vice President Al Gore has even gone so far as advocate the killing of unborn babies to curb global warming." Ward stated, "Why should I be surprised the this administration would give up America' rights when it will kill unborn children all in the name of preventing global warming, something that has not even been proven to exist?"
According to a Washington Post article of October 2, at a White House meeting held for broadcast weather personalities from around the nation, Vice President Al Gore stated, "It is time to ignore the controversy over family planning and cut out-of-control population growth."
Senator Jerry Ward, is a Viet Nam Veteran, former U.S. Navy Sea-Bee and currently serves on the Senate Military Affairs Committee.
