Southeast Transportation Plan Public Hearing

House Transportation Committee to Meet September 2

Juneau -- The House Transportation Committee will meet Wednesday, September 2, 1998, in the Butrovich Room 205 of the Alaska State Capitol. The meeting will be teleconferenced and is scheduled for 9:00am-Noon.

Transportation Committee Chairman, Rep. Bill Williams (D-Saxman) has asked Rep. Bill Hudson (R-Juneau) to chair Wednesday's meeting. The meeting will include a presentation and questions from committee members and the public concerning the Department of Transportation and Public Facilities' Southeast Transportation Plan, which will include proposals for increasing access to Juneau.

Written comments on the Southeast Transportation Plan are due to the DOT&PF, Division of Statewide Planning, 3132 Channel Drive, Juneau, AK 99801-7898 by October 30, 1998.
