Title: An Act relating to the real estate surety fund

Section 1: Changes reference to real estate surety fund statutes to AS 08.88.450-08.88.495, dropping the reference to AS 08.88.500 which was repealed in 1987.

Deletes reference to expending any funds above $250,00 in the fund for educational purposes.

Section 2: Inserts new language indicating that the surety fund may be used for investigating and holding hearings relating to claims against the fund.

Deletes reference to "and real estate educational purposes" as a permitted use of the real estate surety fund.
