Transportation Improvement Program Information
Dear District 18 Resident:
If you would like to have an impact on the plans and funding allocated for Hillside roads, trails, public transit, sidewalks, and/or transportation-related air quality, now is your chance!
The Draft 2001-2003 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) which covers all of Anchorage and contains some important Hillside roads and trails, is available for public review and comment. A public hearing is scheduled for December 6th at 6:30 p.m. at the Loussac Library. The comment period ends December 17th.
Copies of the draft program are available at the Municipality's Community Planning and Development public counter at 632 West 6th Avenue, Room 210, or by writing the Municipal Planning Division at P.O. Box 196650, Anchorage, AK 99519-6650, or by calling the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities Planning Office at 269-0515.
