FOR AN ACT ENTITLED

" An Act relating to free time activities at Walden Pond Charter School."

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF WALDEN POND CHARTER SCHOOL:

• Section 1. AS YY.YY.010 is amended by adding a new section to read:

Sec. YY.YY.015. Free time activities. (a) Except as provided in (b) of this section, a governing body shall, upon request, allow a student in grade 7 through 12, to exercise his/her open-campus privileges.

(b) A governing body is not required to allow open-campus privileges if

(1) the student participates in illegal activity;
(2) the student's parent or guardian requests that the student not be allowed to participate in open-campus activity.
