Municipal Special Election:
As I write this, the Municipality of Anchorage has scheduled a special election for Tuesday,
November 25, 2003. According to the Municipal Clerk's Office, in person absentee voting begins on Monday, November
10 at: Lousaac Library (3600 Denali), City Hall, Municipal Clerk's Office, Second Floor (632 West Sixth Avenue), and the
Chugiak Senior Center (22424 North Birchwood Loop, Chugiak). For more information and for hours of in person

Monday, November 17, 6:00 p.m. - Spenard Recreation Center Multipurpose Room, 2020 West 48th Avenue.
The Airport will hold an information meeting about its Summer 2004 construction season. Topics include: Taxiway
rehabilitation, South Terminal North Taxilane repavement, and Remote Overnight Parking areas construction on the east side
of Runway 14/32.
In a recent newsletter, the Airport indicated that many airlines have changed the bag weight restrictions. As many of
us travel during the holiday season, you might want to contact your air carrier to see what its current weight per bag is and
the number of bags that may be checked without paying additional fees.
