The date of this meeting has been changed to Saturday, March 4, 2006, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the UAA Campus, Cuddy Dining Facility.
Members of the Anchorage Caucus and the public will hear presentations from Municipality, Anchorage Assembly, Port of Anchorage, UAA, South Anchorage Sports Dome group, Muldoon Youth Mental Health Home, and Glenn-Seward Highway connections projects staff. After the presentations, the caucus members will hear from the public.
This is a good opportunity for interested persons to visit with Anchorage Caucus members. I will be in attendance at this meeting.
Internship Opportunity
Internship opportunities are being offered through the Denali Commission this summer. These 12-week internships are open to anyone currently enrolled in a graduate or undergraduate degree program, and areas of focus range from community planning to public health to economics.
Although non-Alaskans are eligible to apply for these internships, the Commission is particularly interested in selecting talented Alaskans, especially those with experience in rural Alaska. Check out the Commission's website for further information (www.denali.gov) or contact Rayna Swanson, RurAL CAP's liaison to the Denali Commission/Energy Program Assistant Manager, by calling (907) 271-4990.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Norman Rokeberg
State Representative
House District 27
